ARTWORK HANGING HARDWARE GUIDELINES
Starting fall of 2019, all artwork in the gallery will be hung on picture rails, so it is very important that only approved hardware be used. You MUST install hanging hardware on your artwork - we cannot do this for you and we cannot hang artwork without a hanger! Here are examples of some common hanging hardware. If you want to use something not pictured here, please contact us first.
D-ring is the best choice for most artwork. You can use one or two.
Sawtooth is only appropriate for artwork that is very lightweight.
Picture wire is another great option, but please make sure to install your wire correctly! Measure the length of your artwork top to bottom and install the wire 1/4 of that length from the top. Do not place the wire at the halfway point or your artwork will tilt forward and will not be safe to hang.
